what am i?

I thought this was a buff orpington but now at two weeks she is feathering out with reddish brown feathers with white tips. She was all yellow when I received her as a two day old chick. She's part of my "brown egg layer assortment" from Meyer Hatchery so I'm sure she's not a mix. She is getting way darker than my grown buff orps. New Hampshire? Other suggestions? Furthest left

I was going to get on tonight and ask the same question, but my chicks look very different. Meyer must have a ton of variety in their breeding stock! I got a brown egg layer assortment, too, and none of my chicks look like yours.

I did get RSL from them too but they look nothing alike. The rsl started out yellow with a red glow on her head and back with streaks. Her wings have grown in mostly white. They really don't seem the same. As for a second generation rsl, I wouldn't think the hatchery would breed them that way but am I wrong?

you're the one with the undecided partridge rock right? None of mine are.
The other two you can see in photo #1 are my ee female and the faverolle I hatched.

Oops on second look that's not my ee! No cheeks. That's my male sussex. Not a flattering one of him though! Bad fluff phase!
