what are y'all saving from the wild to deal with coming crisis?

If we look carefully we might find a scientist that thinks "global warming" happens and another scientist who thinks that the data is flawed or a normal cycle is happening.

Or you will find 98 scientist who have proven global warming is happening and man made vs 1 or two who don’t.

Hi Gary,
I keep looking until i find someone that can give me a coherent explanation of their reasoning. A lot of scientists are philosophically, religiously, and politically opposed to some of the answers.

Science is science, you start with a hypothesis and prove it out one way or another. The minority of scientists who deny climate change are the ones I would look closely into their motivations.

I looked closely at the one who told me that "I can't believe in a Creator God because I am a scientist", that guy thinks DNA (language) can create itself.

I have no idea what you mean by that, believe what you want to believe. One has nothing to do with the other.

This is getting weird, I’m out of here.

good philosophy leads to good science, bad science happens when a scientist can't accept the results.
example: a belief in the theory of macro evolution leads a scientist toward a 65-75 million year old earth theory so when dinosaur blood, tissue and flexible tendons were found a few years ago in the western USA the scientists ask "how can blood be preserved for 65 million years?" instead of "How long can blood be preserved in a fossil? I might be wrong about when the last dinosaur died."

That's really irrelevant. What percentage of experts opposed Galileo and Ignaz Philipp Semmelweis? The history of science is filled with examples of majority-view experts who got it horribly wrong. It has generally always been the lone person or minority view that got it right.

No it’s not irrelevant. It is what it is, you either get it or you don’t. Science is not something to “believe “ in. It just is.

Why on earth would anyone bury their head in the sand and deny science just because it does not comport to their world view? Is it too hard to accept that maybe something you believe in is flawed?

Uhm, let’s think about who opposed Galileo for a minute. The Catholic Church is who, and their “experts” who either agreed or died.

So it’s basically the same thing, religious people opposed to science that does not comport to their world view.
Thanks for the historical context it’s perfect.

It’s ok to challenge your beliefs.
