Cool! I've heard generally good things about them. Actually recently watched a video where someone took a tour of the hatchery and got to see all the steps of the process, it was really interesting!Meyer Hatchery.

Nope! That are very much male.Oh thank god. I'm not crazy![]()
x2Something went wrong. The 2 Swedish flowers, lavender Orp and Polish are all cockerels.
Unless they did a blood test, they're wrong. Both swedish flowers look identical. If one was a cockerel and one a hen then their combs and wattles wouldnt be the same size or color. And no way that lavender orpington is a hen. I think they're trying to save their butt a bit.Okay the results are in! The hatchery emailed me back. Any final bets? Lol
The Steele Egger (not a polish afterall) is a rooster! One of the Swedish Flower chickens is a rooster the other is a hen. Def want to breed these 2, but they may be siblings. Is that gross? .....And finally the Lavender Orpington is a hen.!![]()

X2! Meyer tries to cover a lot. I had chick issues with one of my chicks and they denied everything. They totally screwed up.I agree with the above. They are also wrong about the "steele egger", they aren't going to have V-combs. That's a white crested splash Polish.

I agree that it's a splash polish, its identical to their list photo even.I agree with the above. They are also wrong about the "steele egger", they aren't going to have V-combs. That's a white crested splash Polish.
Eh, I've been called worse.I'm going to wait until they are fully grown to respond to them, that way there is no "if". I mean, the chicks were only $3 each so I'm not going to textually assault them and accuse them of trying to "save their butts". I'm actually a nice, reasonable person.
I'm not a noob to chickens, just to raising a roo from a chick.
