What did you do in the garden today?

Oooh let me know how the shroom plugs go. I've toyed with the idea of doing that before. Seems really neat! 🍄🍄🍄
Most definitely. I ordered the plugs from Field and Forest. The whole kit with a drill bit w/ stop collar, log tags, wax and recipe books and 1000 plugs for 60 dollars. About 25 logs worth. Should pay itself back pretty quickly once fruiting begins next year. I will do a progress thread about it when I get started next week.

It's chilly out today. Yesterday we got the garage cleaned, so I was able to work in there today. I built a new raised bed with some new and some repurposed materials. DS eagerly helped with the build. I still need to build two more, but I wil need to go to the hardware store for more steel, lumber and screws.

It uses actual chickpeas, either cooked or rinsed from a can.
I used one full can of rinsed chickpeas, and then doubled all the other ingredients.
I also heated the milk and melted the chocolate in there, and then dumped that and the peas into the bowl and pureed with my immersion blender, then added all the other ingredients. I scooped golfball sized blobs into greased muffin tins. Next time I'll just use papers and avoid washing up. LOL.

Okay! I will show this to her. We have tons of chickpeas in the cupboard so that will work. Don't know why I have chickpea flour...gotta be useful for something! I hate when I buy things and don't remember my initial intent. CRS.

Edit: found this and bookmarked it: https://thehiddenveggies.com/chickpea-flour-recipes/ Probably bought it for a vegan dish that I've yet to make. LOL!
