What did you give your chickies today?

This morning my girls got an apple, and a box of blueberries. and a hand full of dog food.

Today my girls got vegetable beef soup with spiral noodles. Very thick and hearty. A bowl of sunflower seeds and really fresh millet.

Today my girls got three different greens, lettuce, kale, and cabbage. Tomorrow there getting spagetti for dinner .

Warm rice, black beans, spinach and will have watermelon in a few minutes, picked up a small one at the .99 cent store. They love watermelon.

My Pomegranate tree was loaded this year. We ate a few and gave a few away but what was left hangs on the tree and the birds enjoy them. I go out every day and pick a few big ones and through them high into the air. When they hit the ground they burst open and the girls come running. They clean them to nothing but the skins! They live them!!
My Persimmon Tree is loaded too. What falls to the ground is quickly consummed!!!!

Mine got ham & yoghurt last night and today I came across some maggots and gave them some cabbage leaves. They almost ripped my hands off for them!!

This morning dad's left over anchovy pizza collard greens and rice poured some hot water over it and they were all happy. Even Gabby my foodie.

So far other then crumble they got a plate of biscuits and gravy and will be getting a bowl of chili with rice this evening. They seem to love the treats or maybe they just love the "human food" like my dogs do. So far summer sausage is their favorite.
