I'm in central Oklahoma. Just east of Oklahoma City. Technically, I'm still in the city limits.

Just for the info
What To Do If You Encounter A Mountain Lion
* Pick all children up off the ground immediately.
* Do NOT approach the lion
* Stay calm. Talk calmly and move slowly.
* Face the lion and remain in an upright position.
* Do not turn your back on the lion. Back away slowly.
* Do NOT run.
* Do all you can to enlarge your image. Do NOT crouch down or try to hide
* IF the lion is aggressive, throw rocks, sticks, or anything you can get your hands on.
* If the lion attacks, fight back. Fighting back can drive off lions.
Still looking for a good map but can't seem to find one, will update again if I do. Kim
This is about all I can find for your area, apparently your DNR or outdoor servicing agents are not bright enough to make a map, or even admit to their exsistance without some arm twisting, its also quite clear from what I have read, THERE IS DEFINITELY COUGARS IN CENTRAL OKLAHOMA !! Hope they move on and quit messing around your area, but if they stay I'm hoping they don't cause you more or more serious trouble. Good Luck Traci and well wishes for you and yours.
