What do you have planted in your garden so far ? What zone ?

I'm buying plants this year... didn't have too much luck with my home-grown seedlings last year. I won't be planting those till the end of April though (zone 7). Potatoes and carrots will be going in the ground sooner. Can't wait!

I moved a few plants today to make room in my back garden for a three sisters planting. I'll clear the weeds tomorrow, make the mounds, and plant the corn. Then I have to figure out what kind of squash I want there. I'm thinking pie pumpkins and butternut.

We are still putting in our new veggie garden. It's 30ft x 50ft, on a slope that we terraced with cinder blocks. That meant 15 cubic yards of soil had to be pushed in a wheelbarrow up the hill this week

I am so glad that that part of the job is just about done. We are just waiting for the utilities to mark where the lines are so that we can put in our deer fencing.

Anyway, yesterday I planted some onions and potatoes. A couple of weeks ago I started lettuce, broccoli, kale and spinach in the greenhouse. As soon as the fencing is up, next weekend, they will all go in the ground, along with my 2 rhubarb tubors. I'll also start some carrots, sugar peas, shelling peas and scallions straight in the garden at that point. I am zone 7 (pretty sure).
