50 pound bag of oyster shells at TSC for about $10. I can never find 50 pound bag at Murdoch's (where I usually shop) and there a 5 pound bag is about $7. The big bag lasts my flock of 10 about a year, maybe more.

When I used "layer" feed, I hardly wen't through any OS. Now that I use flock raiser, it's a lot more that I go through but still really not much. I will have to pay attention to when I might run out and grab some when it's on sale also. Every little bit of saving means I can enjoy my hobby/ therapy sessions that much more!a 5 pound bag is about $7. The big bag lasts my flock of 10 about a year, maybe more.
