What do you think of the new BYC platform?

Im so sad and upset!!!I cant do or find anything on here now. I would pay if I could have the old BYC back and Im sure others would tooif money is the problem here! Judging by the hate voting Im not alone. I know for a fact I wont be on here much as it stands now. If it aint broke dont fix it. A child could figure out the old BYC. Im gonna miss all yall Shawn AKA DESTINDUCK

I LOVE it! I think it looks better and it's much easier to navigate (for me) and the search works much better for me now. Runs smooth, etc.

Ok... so this morning when BYC was first up, it was really slow on my home computer using IE 9. At work, on IE 8, it was miserable. It was impossible to do anything, as evidenced by my hundred posts because I was retyping my posts (adding new thoughts as I redid it every time so I think it ended about 3 paragraphs longer!) but anyway, now that I'm back home on IE 9, it's working really well!
I can now leave comments easily, I'm not seeing little bars while it attempts to load. I can easily surf and view anything. I pity the people that only have IE 8, and I don't think I'll be able to use this when I'm not at home. It doesn't work well on my phone either.
I'm happy to see progress though, I can tell now that I'm back on my home computer that it has gotten better!
And I see my GFM is back! WOO HOO!

We can't please everyone. The fact is some things CANNOT be changed no matter how much any of us want them. This move was necessary and there was a LOT of research done before the decision was made. Just because your request isn't granted, doesn't mean you are being ignored.

Thanks for replying. All of these posts would have been avoided if someone out of who knows how many staff members there are would of said something instead of reading my post and knowing that it's not possible THEN ignoring it. I never said that when my requests weren't granted that I was ignored. I feel ignored when I post something multiple times and I get no reply, but then I see mods replying to other members that posted AFTER me.

Nifty HAD to upgrade to some other kind of system.. just too much traffic here or something...
So he really had to..
BUt maybe we could get rid of some the clutter? Like the reviews and whos watching list.. etc.. that would make it less busy too the eye and less confusing...
Annnd i still need to know why my kindle wont work with with this site now...
