No one wants an Airedale Terrorist? They really are great dogs. I've owned 5 over the last 40 + years. Lost my last one this summer, hence the puppy.

Aww!!! I have heard many things about the breed but never looked into them. You definitely seem very fond of the breed!

I purposely chose mixes with the hopes of avoiding the health problems. Decades ago I met some purebred, well bred frenchies, and I fell in love with their goofy, happy personalities. I always wanted one but could never afford one. Now they are the most popular dog. They are great little dogs for the right people. They play hard, than nap well. I like the lazier temperament these days.

That makes sense. All the ones I’ve met except that one are aggressive lol

I knew someone that used to have two and I used to be kind of scared of them LOL but now I’m not and they seem great. So sorry for your loss and

They are one of my absolute favorite breeds. Everything I read about them says they don't do well with other dogs like most terriers. I used to love to groom them. Nothing better looking than a well groomed airedale.
