As much as I love chis, that is true. That’s the nature of the breed after all. Not the nippy part, the constant yapping part.

Alerting the villagers whenever danger approached was one of the main uses they had. That’s the reason their ears are so large!

Our neighbors dogs are always barking. Labs, goldens, sheltie, and now another collie. They never shut up. I always know when they are outside. It's not the breed so much as it is the owners.

I want an Anatolian shepherd or a Tibetan Mastiff. A neighbor is afraid of large dog breeds and told us to only own small ones. I am sure he will love a Tibetan Mastiff or an Anatolian Shepard :-D
