What Dog Breed Do You Want Today!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

I truly couldn’t tell you. But it seems now that it was a very bad source It was many years ago when I was looking into many breeds, before I had decided on the one I liked.

Ahhh okay. Yeah, I’d say definitely a bad source LOL or maybe they happened to encounter one horribly bred and/or horribly trained and generalized it to all of them????? But then again Leos are not really that common of a breed yet so I feel like if there was an aggressive one, people would have heard of it, especially SandyRiverChick with how involved in the breed she is hahah

Funny, it was for sure leos. I don’t think I’ll ever get one just because I want high workability and drive (would you say they are?)

Leo's are highly trainable and they are working dogs. They pull carts (they were used to pull ammo carts in WW2.) They are water dogs, like Newfies. But a Leo can never be an outdoor only dog, they are highly sensitive and highly bonded to people. No breeder will place a pup in an outdoor LGD situation. Better to have a LGD for flock protection. That said, my Newfies and Leo's guarding our fenced in property is why I don't have predator issues.

LOL. Yeah the Leo rumor mill would have given up the mean one. Actually though the Leo community is pretty small, breeders know each other.... You're right, not much damage yet by BYB. And you very rarely would find them in rescue situations as breeders will always take them back.

Yeah I figured as much LOL and that’s good!!!! I hope they remain untouched by BYBs and puppy mills etc.
