That’s awesome!!!!!! Yeah, I love hounds too! My current boy is about a quarter hound (beagle and foxhound) with the rest being Lab and various bully breeds, mostly pit. I love him so much LOL I’d love another hound mix with much more hound content or even a pure hound.

Nooooooo LOL WAY too wrinkly and drooly for me and too short legged and I’d worry about damaging their back LOL

I've had 2 basset hounds. They were lovely dogs. I don't recall any drooling. They are heavy dog that act like clowns, and like to wander off following their nose. I'd get another except for how heavy they can be. I miss mine.

I think basset hounds would work well here. I’ve heard that they have a distinct scent, more than other dogs, and more than other scent hounds. Not sure how true it is. If not, they’re definitely a breed I like
