She would obsessively smell my breath. Literally stuck her nose in my mouth. After a few moments she would turn away and refuse to look at me. She would do it repeatedly. I didn't understand it the first time it happened, but definitely understood it the next time, and insisted on getting checked out.

I was diagnosed with stage 1 ovarian cancer that second time. Most don't get diagnosed until late stage and most do not survive. I credit her with my survival. She sat with me through all the pain of chemo, and multiple surgeries. She would occasionally check me out after all that, and I always felt safe after one of her appointments. She earned the nickname Doctor. It was well deserved.

I was at a neighbors house visiting about two years ago and had my mini aussie with me, she was sitting with me on our golf cart. She's always friendly and happy to see people. After about an hour talking with the lady and her grandaughter, her husband walked over to say hello. My aussie barked and barked at him, wouldn't let him near enough to pet her. Several months later he died of cancer. I've often wondered if my dog sensed his cancer.

Energy mostly. His very high strung and crazy, I know he's still a puppy though but I know he'll never be as chill as a pyr or similar breeds. And I prefer fluffy dogs if we are going to looks. I'm sure Oakley gonna be great and go on to win lots of events and be a wonderful dog though. He's just a big chewer, constantly going, no off switch, and he frustrates me sometimes which isn't his fault. I'm hoping age will help

I don't like high energy breeds either. That's why most sporting breeds aren't even on my radar.
