If it needs to learn to walk on a loose leash before pressure is applied to correct pulling, then how would you suggest going about training it without pressure to get the dog to walk nicely on a loose leash?Yeah they are good. I personally would just make sure it knows how to walk loose leash before implementing pressure. And please don't let it run up to every person it sees. That drives me crazy when people do that and you will regret it later. People think that is "socialization"
I mean I kind of thought that was the point, or is it not? I of course wouldn't put the puppy on the leash and start "corrections" immediately, just so it can get used to being attached to someone, but if its pulling that's not technically loose leash, right? Then it'd need the collar..?
Most of my experience in training lies with horses, which is obviously an entirely different type of animal and training method. XD
