Today I want another Australian shepherd. After I got home from grocery shopping I put my bags on the floor in the kitchen. I went and took my coat off and went to put the stuff in the fridge. There in one bag was a tennis ball. Sunny used to always put toys in my shopping bags when I got home. Now Pepper apparently is continuing the tradition.

German Shepherd today . Probably not something I could handle, but the only breed I would be willing to try. Grew up with Shepherd mixes, there’s just something nostalgic about the breed

I had one as a kid. It is definitely a nostalgic breed. I don't think they look anything like they used to.

German Shepherd mixes just seem amazing in general.
My grandparents had a German Shepherd husky. He was so loyal, he refused to sleep inside, he lived to be 18(approximately), and was the last dog my grandparents had becaude they felt as if nothing could or would ever be able to fit in there after he passed .
I loved that he would stay close even off lead with barely any training and was always happy especially for a bit of chickens.
