Is the pool not enough? I change it almost every day the water is pretty much just to get them through the night

Please note that water is not deep enough to dip their heads and clear their nostrils... do you have another for them?
RK and others are KNOWN for having breed and gender mix ups.

The light one appears as though it will be female.
The dark one is not a Harlequin.. and agree it appears to be a black Swedish male... starting to get some nice green on his head.
As they grow the female will remain a loud quack and the male voice will become more of a soft raspiness. Eventually he will get a cute little curl on his tail.
I am using the SOP and judging it by the sheen and coloration common for males in black duck breeds.How early (if you know) do ducks get their two curly “drake feathers”? Because I don’t see any on the black one.

Much later than I would have thought! Mine had a LOT of color in before the curly tail appeared... and the voice change took place WAY before that.How early (if you know) do ducks get their two curly “drake feathers”? Because I don’t see any on the black one.
