What gender is this porcelain D'uccle?

Here is Minnie Mouse again, Brown Red D'Uccle, at 6 weeks. The silkies are also 6 weeks (i have my suspicions that the black one is a male, just based on behavior). My white D'uccle, Moon Baby, is 5 weeks.

Im really enjoying the D'Uccles.. i also like not waiting forever to know their sex!

Mine chrip-scream at me when it is time for me to hold them in the morning, chirp-scream by their run door at exactly 11am when its time for veggies, and then chirp-scream for their before bed cuddles. I am not sure this is going to be good for me long term

How did the eviction and first day out go? I know I am going to have to do something for these guys, maybe some sod or make a veggie bin I can bring inside/outside, let them pretend to be outdoors!

Sounds like a good idea! My chickies are still in the house, the coup isn't ready yet so they get to stay for a while longer.

It's hard to tell in the picture but I think he is starting to get his saddle feathers!

The end of some of his lower back feathers are a slightly different color and they shimmer a little

Yep!! I can tell! The guy at the pet store was pointing out that they get a little iridescence to them. He is going to be BEAUTIFUL!! I love how the blue pops out so nicely! I love the little lions mane that sticks out on the roos too.. very elegant.

I ordered DNA testing for my silkies, because I am not waiting months more, only to end up having to rehome them! I also ordered tutus and chicken diapers for my D'Uccles I know its ridiculous, but I am so excited! I renamed Moon Baby to Daisy Mae since she is BFFs with my Minnie Mouse. They are so cute, they even walk in sync and preen each other. I am not sure I will even replace silkie boys w silkie girls, because these are just the friendliest and sweetest birds. I love D'Uccles.
