What is considered basic obedience!?

Our Aussie lab only every showed aggressive behavior towards one person. He is living happy on a farm now though wish we still had him. He was a good boy.

everything but stay, I wish my dog did it but she is pretty good at everything else. She also knows ''gentle'' when giving treats and ''go potty'' since we have a dog yard that she can access through the porch

Teach Stay a step at a time, on leash. First increase distance, then increase time. You can't increase both at the same time.

All of the above, plus "go potty" and "quiet"

Basic obedience in my opinion should include the ability to be quiet when told!

Not every dog barks though. Denver barely barks and when she does its something that startles her so i dont see quiet as a basic command.

I mostly mean with dogs that have a barking issue. The sort that bark at a constant for attention. Makes them hard to live with lol.
