Barred Rock, Easter Eggers and Rhode Island Reds!

My easter eggers look like proto-eagles, my Rhodies are going to be very prolific layers... and my BRs... well they're very inquisitive.

I own Buff Orphington hens (13), a mutt Rooster, japanese black tailed white bantams & some up and coming Golden laced Sebrights (2wks old).

BY FAR, I LOVE MY SEBRIGHTS THE BEST!!!!! They just have so much personality!!!!! Even at their age, they are just full of themselves. Every day they make me laugh!! LOVE LOVE LOVE THEM!

My 2nd favorite would be my japanese black tailed white bantams.

Guess you could say I love my ornamentals!

Im new to chickens but of the breeds I have so far I'd say Barred Rocks. Mine are so friendly they cuddle on you and one even gives kisses. My RIR are a little on the shy side at least with me but not my daughter they are her favorite. Just got some naked necks not got them tame yet but they are just soo cute. As far as gentle friendly chickens I have to say the Barred Rock.

I'm going to have to say it's the Personalities of a few of the hens that I have. Some of them are just super sweet and love affection.

I love my polish and my silkies. They are so comical.. You can be standing right next to a polish chicken and they won't even realize you're there for a little while. And then when they do realize there are feet next to them they get spooked.. SO funny.. And it might just be me, but my silkies seem a little slower (mentally) than my aracauanas, Red stars, and jersey giants. They are funny to watch too. I never knew I would be so entertained by chickens!
