What is one thing you want to do before you die?

A question: what caused the need for breeding & preserving? Mans earlier intervention that nearly wiped out a species?
Yes, but we aren't all one person, there are good people and bad people. Bad people are killing these animals, and better men and women are trying to save them. If we can change the circumstances that led to the problems, we can possibly save some of these species

Here’s some sickening facts::

Unfortunately, The #1 cause of dis-ease in US citizens is the “Standard American Diet”.
SAD causes obesity, high BP, diabetes, cancer….all the major “killers”. The list goes on & on.

It is more profitable to treat a di-ease then to cure it.

The heftiest donors to medical schools are pharmaceutical companies.
I don't think the "standard american diet" really applies here... I mean, we're in a community of folks, most of which are dedicated to raising their own animals, growing their own foods on homesteads. I'm not sure that many people here are getting takeouts every night. We all know processed food is unhealthy.
I agree that plant based diets are better for you, and you already know I'm vegan, but it's best not to push this on other folks like this.

This discussion should be saved for the vegan thread that I started, where folks are free to come and join in, but not forced made to feel uncomfortable or forced to endure the discussion.

Another thing that I would love to do, is to fly an airplane! That would be so cool!
My brother flew several planes when he was 10-12. My mom helped arrange that because he thought that would be his career.
Now he's an adult and he's decided on computer development. He built a computer when he was 15 or something- It's just crazy to me that he knew exactly where he was going and what he wanted. I love my job but haven't picked a career yet.
