thanks - yes, since the photos, the tail feathers (and feathers around it) have started looking like they are getting 'fancier'.
Definitely noisier the last few days too.
We have started looking for a new home, would LOVE to keep him, but our neighbours are very close - in fact, they're closer to the chickens than us (we have tiny house but long garden!) whilst we've got permission to keep chickens, don't want to make enemies of everyone within crowing distance.
Is when he goes (as top chicken) a good time to introduce another couple of hens? Defintely want more. Or should we do it before/after?
