What is this Scabby & Enlarged Thing on Roo's Chest?

Nice job. I think I see a second scab/plug thing starting toward the top, too?

Yes, it’s been there the whole time. It isn’t hard like the biggest one, but not lifting up either. Figuring as the body heals and the external ointment and soaking work their magic, there will be a time when it can be worked on to remove and clean it out.

I did look in the cattle section, but didn't see any. However, didn't ask anyone either. Actually, the only thing I asked them is when they were getting chicks in - their chick bins were all set up, so I had to ask!
I know my local TSC store has taken to locking up all meds, from wormers, antibiotics, flea prevention, etc because people were stealing them off the shelf.

The overall condition has improved greatly. It seems to be taking a shape rather than big and swollen. I agree decide your plan of treatment. I do notice the pus pockets are looking? Bigger. I’d keep soaking and when you get a feel for the bumble or whatever it is ... in a good grip with one hand you could probably feel where you need to apply pressure to see what comes out. If your lucky you’ll gat a nice core/plug out of that. If your lucky you’ll have a hecka-hole to treat/flushout. Applying betadine topically is IMHO awesome. I love the stuff! On fresh open new wounds dilute it 50/50 water. Spray bottle’s work great on neck wounds. Especially if your working one handed. :caf

Good to know, and I did buy betadine today, so I’ll be able to use it later.

Yes, some items are behind glass, but I’ve noticed that the employees are always around in the aisles, particularly any aisle with a customer.... I suppose for that very same reason
