What is Wrong With BYC Today? - "Please enter something before you submit your post"

I can type a reply, click to submit and it does nothing. Clck again and it posts. Been doing this since the last big update. Always on my iPad here, and it isn't an iOS issue, all updated. Most of the new features on BYC don't work since the move happened, and can't use the photo uplad embed feature. I deffinetly don't stay on here like I use to, and don't browse the threads like I did before. Too many hassles all around.

Today I was not able to post for awhile. First, I tried to "quote," and couldn't. Then, I couldn't even post at all.

First you reply then hit submit it will tell you that you haven't written anything. Then you hit preveiw then submit & bingo.

We're very sorry to the members that are experiencing this problem. It is only a very small percentage of members, but we definitely understand it is a pain.

The engineers are trying to dig in and find the problem, but haven't been able to isolate the cause. To help, please reply with answers to each of these questions:

1. What is your browser and version?
2. Does it happen every time you post on the forum? If not, we need URL examples of pages you had this problem
3. Does it happen when you send PM's or post comments on pages / articles?
4. Have you tried another browser?

7LFarms, same thing here and it's a pain in the fanny. I posted my responses several pages back, forget about doing quotes 90% of the time (like just now). I am now queen of the preview (since apparently I tried to post a blank screen, but not preview a blank screen

).

that's all ipad related issues i think... apparently they haven't worked for a bunch of people i know.

you couln't pay me to rely on one of those things LOL i'll stick with win7.

the issues seem to be more with ie8 than ie9 btw, i haven't had any problems since upgrading my browser on this machine, they've all been on my work machine. (which can't use ie9 because of portal incompatibilities with my work system)

yup. that's what i said in my original replies when the problem first popped up...

full page editor or preview have no problems posting, only from the quick reply form at the bottom of the page.

Tested it in the only thread I could remember that I was having problems with and it looks like it is working for me now.
