What is wrong with people? A sad horse story

Monsters did that MONSTERS!!! what do people think!! In this case they didn't. The nerve of some people. lock them up!

These kids, if caught, will probably get a slap on the wrist. I've seen it time and again. A mare in Ga was wrapped in barbed wire and dragged behind a tractor, she lived, but will never be anything but a pasture pal. She's terrified of humans and who can blame her? The kids that did it got community service.

Someone took a newborn appaloosa foal and dragged it behind a pickup and then left it to die, tied up in a ditch. The foal was found dead. They never caught the people who did it, stranger still, they never found the owners of the foal.

A draft pair of geldings had a group of teenagers enter their pasture and shoot a fire extinguisher up their noses, killing the first one and maiming the second. The second died a few years later due to complications caused by the incident. These kids got a slap on the wrist.

It's a sad world these days, but don't count on the law to protect your animals.

I know what should be done...put them in a cage, chase 'em around with an atv, then drag em them behind the atv, same speed and same distance.

Those monsters were enjoying themselves at the expense of the horses, next time it will be someones child. Stop it now, before it can go any farther!

You know,,,when I was a kid nothing as ugly would have EVER entered my mind. Where does this awful deranged violent behavior come from? The scariest part is they do not think they are doing anything remotely wrong. I just do not get it. I understand it is a whole different world than what I grew up with, but we are talking very disturbing behavior. If that were my horses and I found out who did such a thing........

This is beyond disgusting; there are a lot of sick people in this world. I know more horror stories than I care to remember. I feel so sad that a gentle animal was tortured "for pleasure". I hope the creeps are caught and punished!

There is no news as of yet. A nurse I work with whose husband is a police detective with the town of sharon said they have an idea who did this and an arrest is in the works. I think they should leave him with the horse owners of the community. I really would not be able to cope with this if they were mine, I have a hard time with a horse I never knew. My friend who knows the owner says is ticked by the neigbors because I guess they heard the atv's at the time and knew horses were up there unguarded but nobody cared enough to investigate.

That is horrible, if that happened to 1 of my horses I think I would kill the person too.

ahhhhh the things that I would love to do to these wretched creatures when they are found. When I got through with them, they would PRAY to be tied to the back of an ATV and drug through the forest til they were dead! un

And people wonder why I despise the human race, there are so few of us who are worth anything at all... I just hope they realize that karma is a beast!!!
