my son and I had a half a slice each... No issues. Mom laughed when I told her what happened. She said "You pullled one of my stunts, The meat should be good"

YOu see back when I was about thirteen Mom and Dad bought a Quarter of a beef. We had a big chest freezer. They brought in about ten or twelve bags filled with wrapped beef... They loaded the freezer. About a week later mom noiced big black flys in the house. She traced the source and it was a bag of beef left behind the door. She freaked out because it was porterhouse steaks... Just one package.

Dad laughed and took the package out and opened it up. Rinsed them off in the sink and wrapped them individually. then put them in the refrigerator. That night we ate Porterhouse. With lots of salt and pepper and garlick cloves... Broiled....

You could cut it with your fork... and VEry flavorful.
