I have a Standard Poodle and his name is Henry Poodle. He loves chickens, most esp if they are chicks. He has guarded three hatches so far. And because my pyncheon is tiny always he is currently in love with her.

Saw your darling and had to post. I have a Standard Poodle also. He is named Leo. He is coming up on two years old. We're working on believing that chickens are boring. He really wants to eat them, but can be persuaded to come play with me instead if they don't move about too much in their covered run.

Leo is my first dog in maybe 20 years, and is brilliant about many things. He has his CGC, TKI, and working on his BCAT. Once he's older we'll probably start doing Agility and Rally. I groom him myself and it's a heck of a lot of work. We do Canine Freestyle together (aka Canine Cabaret or dog dancing), which is basically trick training and then you put it to music and do a dance routine together. Leo has the tricks down and can usually do our current routine well, but keeping his attention on me when distractions are about is something we're working on hard right now.

He's a lap dog who takes up the ENTIRE lap. One must use the recliner and put the foot rest out so he can have enough room. He also makes a great unicorn (tail was wagging in this picture although you can't see it).

He's a great boy, and I couldn't be happier with him.

I have two mixed breeds, one I’ve had since middle school and he’s a miniature Schnauzer chihuahua mix and the other one I rescued from beside the road, he’s some kind of hound mix. Their names are scrappy (small dog) and bouncer (hound)

Ancient basset hound - Bogart - 17. The best chicken sitter ever. Follows them around everywhere. He loves them and they love him.
So cute OMG
