And unless you want milk and babies, stick with wethers (neutered males,) because a nanny in season is a nightmare on cloven hooves. Think "the persistent need to escape and constant vocalizing of a sixty-plus pound cat in heat" ... on steroids!

What kind(s) of dogs do I have?

1. A very noisy one who barks all day. But he's very discriminating. He really only barks at two things: things he can see, and things he can't see. Or maybe it's things that move and things that don't move ...

2. A mostly quiet one, who only barks at night. Thank goodness we ony have one neighbor, my SIL. She has two indoor dogs and she tells me when they hear my dog bark, hers go nuts. My dog hears them and barks back at them. Fortunately we are all retired so nobody really minds losing a few hours sleep in he middle of the night. Right?

3. A completely silent one, who never barks at anyone or anything. I guess he figures that position has been filled already.

Brew barks kind of a lot sometimes but then other times he’s really quiet. He doesn’t like hawks, ospreys, eagles, etc. or crows cause they look like the previous three I guess? IDK. doesn’t like turkeys either. Or chipmunks.

He really is! Hahahah he hates squirrels too but doesn’t bark. Just gets really excited and wants to chase LOL when Chippy runs past the door he barks at him. LOL
