Do they make them for outdoor use? I've seen a couple on amazon for "animals" (basically rabbits and guineapigs) and have a static "safe" temperature... are these okay to use?

I've read dozens of posts about "Mama heating pads" here and... not a single one has linked any actual products.

okay but for outside use? :O
Well yes, with the caveat that this isn't the intended usage so you wouldn't be covered by warranty or anything.

Like this is how I handle rain... the controller is inside the bucket. I'm sure an electrician would scold me for it. But it operated just fine this way.

As long as all the electrical supply is protected.
Might not work as good if ambient temps are too cold.

honestly this mama cave idea is *genius* and makes so much sense
The 'cave' part is not that great, better to have the pad flat with adjustable legs.
