I wouldn't call some of us negative....more realistic that the OP doesn't have a clue how much work what he wants to do really is. You can't just breed two chickens of different breeds together and call the resulting chicks a new breed. And to try and do it where he can't even keep roos is pretty unrealistic. He's going to have to hatch and grow out hundreds of chicks for many years to get to where he can call the result a new breed. Since I'm assuming his folks will have to be footing the feed bill for quite some time, they might not be too enthused about his project.
