What treat did your chickies get today?

Hopefully wild violet leaves are ok? They love them but not sure if it's good for the chickens.

They are in an enclosed run so the only greens they get are what I give them I.e. grass, dandelions, etc.

Canned green beans, black eyed peas, bread, and leftover fishing worms.

I am always afraid to give them grapes unless I cut them because I had a hen, in her haste to be the first, gobble one down whole and choke! Do you give them whole?

I feed them it whole. ours usually rip them apart themselves

I just read that violet leaves are edible so should be ok. They were given strawberries today. Loved them.
