What treat did your chickies get today?

My flock had leftover chicken parmesan and some banana pie.

The girls are cooped up today and got the big bowl yogurt,cooked oats, cherry tomatoes and topped with scrambled eggs. Mass Hysteria ensued.

On their evening graze, the gang got fresh tomatos. Nothing funnier than seeing a chicken try to run away from everyone carrying a tomato almost as big as she is! The deer who crashed the bird feeder and watched us while munching, got dinner and some entertainment...and probably thought we were all nuts.

Breakfast was eggs with leftover cooked hamburger and some raw oatmeal scrambled together in bacon grease. I added this treat to their morning fermented feed.

Afternoon snack was green beans off the vine and cherry tomato's, both fresh from the garden. They are happy hens.

My girls got little gem lettuce, tomatoes and kiwi. They were like velocer raptors from Jurassic park.
