Yummy four inch barley fodder. Talk about playing keep away! The fodder is doing quite well as an evening treat to fill up crops before bed!

For the chicks in the cage and the banty with chicks - starter/grower soaked in homemade kefir.

For Sumo the CX rescue (I think that's what she is) - 1/3c layer soaked in homemade kefir.

For the main flock - layer pellet- kefir balls tossed in their yard.

I gave them scrambled eggs last night. They LOVED them. Thanks for clearing up the cannibalism myth.
Today we found some grubs and they went nuts. They still do not mess with the blackberries or mulberries we try to give them.
