What treat did your chickies get today?

Leftover baked Acorn Squash, leftover breakfast eggs, sunflower seeds.

Found some old top ramen so soaked it in warm water until it was soft then added green beans. They love the noodles. Also still canning tomatoes so they get the left over skins and stuff. My sister read that garlic was good to give them, is that true? What about onion and hot peppers?

We carved pumpkins on wedsday, and the turkeys and chickens helped... the only problem was, we had to fight them for the seeds... i like my baked pumpkin seeds. one of the silly birds had her head IN the pumpkin!!

Mine love macaroni and cheese! Plus red bell pepper and they went nuts over the worms my nieces fed them from under the pile of wood we moved.

I think I over treat my birds but oh well.

My husband has raised hundreds of pumpkins and my 20 or so birds get a pumpkin daily thil they are all gone.

My nephew shot a deer and brought over the liver and heart. i just cut it up in 1/4" pieces and fried it with some left over pasta, onions, peas and swai fish. It's going to be tomorrow's snack.
