What're your most indespensible kitchen gadgets?

These aren't really my most favorite but they have proven to be multipurpose:

My faberware potato peeler. It makes cream style corn better than any of several more expensive gadgets I have for that and it is easier to use.

Grapefruit spoons. These are great for removing pepper seeds especially jalapenos and getting all the goodies out of the avocado shell.

Child size colander from the toy box: perfect fot draining a can of tuna, crab etc. Used it several times this summer to dry my heirloom tomato seeds.

A good knife and some kind of pot. I can do anything with that and a fire!
