What's for Dinner?

Good morning everyone! No pancakes today, cold cereal for breakfast. We had storms yesterday, the tornado siren was going. Radar showed the tornado was east of us, moving east so we didn't go to the cellar. We stood out in the yard and saw a black sky to the northeast, while we were in sunshine, chickens out in the yard happily foraging.
I am going to try a crockpot pasta casserole. We do not use oven in the summer, but I hadn't thought of slow cooker alternative until this thread. So thanks! I found these instructions, but may use ziti or penne instead.

Sue, I also don't use the oven when it is really hot, just heats the house too much but I find the slow cooker not much better as it is on for hours. I actually for the first time in the last heat wave twigged that I can just plug it in outside which was a lifesaver as we were all getting sooooo sick of food cooked on the BBQ!!! Was lovely having pulled pork with no inside heat :celebrate:celebrate
