What's the most you've spent on a pair of shoes?

My problem is that I have very wide feet. And now days, it seems as if all shoes are made in China and are very narrow. We used to go to Mexico to buy my shoes because they made them wide there. But the company (Canada Shoes) closed their factory in Mexico and now all shoes in Mexico seem to be made in China also.

So, finally I paid $180 for a pair of shoes made in Brazil. Now I am afraid to walk in them, they cost so much.

The Original Smoke Jumper 10". They weren't this expensive when I bought mine a few years ago. Just a little cheaper.

Most recent are these. About $200. When you hike and work in the woods and rough terrain you need good footwear.

I spent around 140 for a pair of work boots, but work reimbursed 100 of that. I needed good boots, because they only reimbursed once a year.

$25 for a pair of boots.
I own three - yes I said THREE - pairs of shoes, not including a pair of house shoes.
I do have a pair of rubber muck boots for the coop or when I hang around Marlinchaser for any length of time.

I will wear shoes on the motorcycle and if I have to go somewhere where they are required. Other than that, I wear what I was born with, feet.
