Today it was a high of 29C. While not unheard of, it is very unusual. In fact this past week it’s been above seasonal and it’s been very dry.

It’s still 21C (69F) which is very mild for nighttime temps this time for year, esp when the sky is clear.

Some fun backyard obs taken by my father and I years ago, saw the temp is nearly always warmer during the Full Moon period, with o'nite temps being much cooler. Even during winter we can get some pretty warm days during the full moon period. We are also hitting 29C today and for the next few days. On Tuesday - Full Moon - the nite temp will drop to 13C, compared to the other nites. I'm sure our ancestors studies all this .. before tv came along.

And it’s the other way around here! Usually during a full moon it’s clear, cold and dry, though you wouldn’t know it here right now!

It’s currently 26C (78F) and very dry, no humidity worth mentioning. Forecast high of 29C (84F) and similar on tap for tomorrow.

After that the bottom falls out of the nice weather.

My banana trees are inside, tomorrow I’ll get the palms inside. I left them out it’s been so nice! But overnight temps will be frosty this week so time to come in.

I'd like to announce that the temp dropped to 68F last night and we turned off the A/C for the very first time since last March.

The first day you can turn off the A/C is practically a holiday here. We had to turn it back on because it's going to be 94F today but it was off for a little while! Woohoo! Let's boogie!
