Whats your guys oppinion in general on Silver Laced Cochins?

    Any thoughts on them, or oppinions? I just ordered some on ebay, 12+


    now lets just hope the weather doesnt freeze em !

    Hatchery Quality ones - Eh. They're like any other "silver laced" fluffy, round breed. . . not fluffy, not round, and certainly not "laced."

    Good quality ones - Quite pretty, but I'm not a huge Cochin fan. They're very docile and broody though. [​IMG]

    I'm with Illia on hatchery quality...but I do love those huge fluffy birds [​IMG]

    I hadn't ever seen them, happyhens, so I googled them.
    They're really pretty and I bet you'll be happy with them.

    But Ive never had problems with hatchery, I dont know if my 1 year olds came from a hatchery? I got them from a feed store. Which could have got them from anywhere/
