My European grandmother used to gives us for breakfast: one raw egg yolk, mixed with two or three tablespoons of red vine and 1/2 tablespoon of sugar. Cinamon on top. All her grandkids are alive and doing quite well, 50 plus years later ;-)

I figured that first egg cost me about $700. No way was I NOT going to eat it! I cooked it over easy w/gobs of butter and man-oh-man was it good

Skip the cinnamon & sugar and that's what my Italian grandfather had for breakfast. We kids were allowed to watch him fix and drink the concoction (suitablely awed mind you) , but weren't allowed to have wine.

Glad I found this thread! Got my first egg yesterday and was wondering the same thing

Is there any worry about medicated feed? She may have had a small amount that was left in the food container before I switched to non-medicated.
