When do Australorp eggs get bigger?

I have five Austrlorp hens that are 8 months old and have been laying for 3 months but the eggs are not much bigger than when they first started laying why is this? This is the biggest one!

They slowly enlarge over the laying season, the second season they will be larger, and each season after.
