I so know what you mean!
When I said I only deal with regular customers this doesn't mean that there are dogs that I can't stand, but there are definitely owners that I can't stand!
Yeah the people part is hard!!! Even nice people I get really bad anxiety trying to formulate the perfect responses and/or having to tell them no or whatever 😭
I work in a warehouse running standup forklifts.
I get all kinds of free pallets for my builds, paper to shred for my coops and runs, cardboard to help keep weeds outta my garden.
EtA, I got a promotion abt 18m ago, so I guess I am not on forktrucks nearly as much as I used to be..I more run the shift now.
That is awesome!!!
I don't work, I'm looking for a part time job ATM though and thinking maybe dog groomer or something like that.
Dog groomer would be cool!!!

I did work with a print company that focused on yearbooks.

But this passing Sunday, I quit after being there for 5 years. I didn't even give them a 2 weeks notice because they pissed me off that much.

The day I couldn't come in last week, they decided to do a schedule change. No one to informed me of this change, and I arrived Sunday night to an empty department. WTF? And my supervisor had the nerve to blame HR.

My advice for anyone starting out in the work force is don't get hyper focused on one or two jobs/companies. Apply for lots and lots of entry level jobs. The more jobs you apply to the higher your chances of landing one. And you don't know what you'll like and what you don't like until you do it.

Oh wow that’s awful!! I’m sorry

Physical Security supervisor for a bank - think 911 dispatcher manager for the people who work within the bank and also the person who helps manage all the cameras and security equipment.

Served 8 years in the National Guard before retiring to start my family.
That’s awesome!
