I am in search of the most recent version of the APA's- Standard of Perfection? Would prefer the B &W version, but if I have to cough up the bucks for the color, I guess I will have to. Correct me if I am wrong (quite possible, as I am new to this) the most recent version is 2001? But they are due to release a new version in the not so far off future? Amazon's got every version since 1889, I think, and I want to make sure that I get the most recent version.

There has been alot of talk about the new version. It has not come out yet! [IMG]

The 2001 is just as recent you can get.

You can order them thru the APA. I think 1998 is the most recent B&W version.

Cool, and this is the only book that I need? There is another one from APA that covers bantams, is that a must have, in addition to this?

They could be talking about one of the Bantam breed book that APA sells.
For example the APA puts out a book titled The Rosecomb Bantam..

If they are working with bantams and large fowl I would recommend the Book BY ABA and APA.

There is a section but there are still differences in the two books.
