where to get these breeds?

Can anyone suggest where I can find non industrial breeds of White leghorn and Rhode island red or plymouth barred rock? I have been trying to figure out which breeds to raise and I heard white leghorns are VERY good for eggs and less upkeep, and the other 2 are both hardy egglayers and good for meat as well. Any suggestions on which of the 2 larger birds I should go? Red or Barred?

sandhill preservation for the leghorns and rir's. they don't have barred rocks but do have barred hollands and partridge rocks.

These are all 3 great breeds. When you say non-industrial, do you mean you do not want to purchase from a hatchery?

There are breeders of all 3 here on BYC, when you decide, post in the WANT TO BUY section.

I have White Leghorns from Ideal Poultry (Big Hatchery) but great birds and excellent producers.
I have Barred Rocks from SpeckledHen here on BYC.
I have Rhode Island Reds from Pine Grove here on BYC.

If you don't mind purchasing from a Hatchery - I have nothing but excellent service from Ideal Poulty.
