Whiting True Blue Chat Thread!

One is starting to get a speckled chest, I will try for four week pictures tonight!

What do yours look like now?

Here are some recent shots of my WTBs

So here we are at 4.5 weeks. Pretty sure the solid cream is a roo, chipmunk/partridge is the wt green.

Oh yes, these look like WTB to me. The WTG are more gold in color something like Golden Comets. Mine were yellow chicks with a pair of very thin brown stripes down their backs. The lighter WTBs were fluffy yellow chicks with some blue haze, eventually turning to blue laced red and gold. The chipmunk ones look like my two dark ones.

I am working on my 3rd generation of this breed. The Blue is what I am focusing on. This spring I hatched some really pretty BBS Whitings!

I was told that the hen laying down was a true blue whiting. But everyone’s looks so different. Anyone else have a grey?

your 2 pullets look like mine. what breed is the one in the back?

The one in the back is a Speckled Sussex. The one standing up is a sapphire gem. The one laying down is the WTB

you could tell the difference more when they were chicks. The yellow belly is the sapphire gem and the all grey is the WTB
