Hello everyone! In this thread you can talk about and show off your Whiting True Blues! They are a fairly new breed that come in an insane variety of colors, but they all lay gorgeous blue eggs! For those who want to learn a bit more about the breed here's a link:

I am working on my 3rd generation of this breed. The Blue is what I am focusing on. This spring I hatched some really pretty BBS Whitings!

Hi and thanks for this thread. My girls are just 6 weeks old, but I’m pretty sure they are WTB. Agnes is the darker one, Gladys is lighter. It looks like Agnes is going to have blue feathers laced with buff/red/gold, and the blue is getting darker by the week. Gladys only recently began showing some blue in her feathers and has a splash look (?)
Both are relatively flighty, but Gladys is more so. I think she looks more Leghorn-ish as well.

Well my WTB started laying! This egg is adorable and tiny but look at that COLOR

3 of these buff and white chicks (they're the "chocolate" ones)

And I've got like 5 of the classic ee colored ones..."partridge" or similar to it, but this girl is a blue partridgey color and the sweetest one of the bunch!!! I've nicknamed her Twindle. She's so calm and will let me touch her chest if I have treats.

Today my WTB is 27 weeks give or take a day and I got this:

I have 5 Whiting True Blue and they are precious! I have a lady in Hillsborough NC that breeds the Most and they are adorable!
I am also very interested in finding out more, I’ve searched everyone and there’s not a ton of information out there on WTB.
If anyone knows if I have hens or roosters, I’d love to know!!
