Woo Hoo!!!! First egg from our hen Rosie. Rose colored egg, small but well shaped and shell is perfect!!!! We are soooo excited!

I'm waiting for my EE's too start laying my RIR have started but I knew what color egg I would get from them I am just dying too find out if any will be laying blue green eggs

Nice looking little egg

I just finished eating my second little egg which was laid pretty much 26 hours after the first one by my BO. Today one of my EEs is doing the to and fro passing twixt run and coop.

Yep,,, I'm still waiting as well... Ours are 16 weeks old on Monday... It feels like it is LONG over due... buttttt.. I know we still have some more time left. My niece got her baby chix, a couple of weeks before we got our (April),, and she is getting eggs now.. Well not many,, and not big ones yet.. But still... Makes me just all that more impatient..!

Oh, no!! I just realized that I somehow miscounted the weeks!

Here I was thinking that our chickens would be 17 weeks on Monday, but now going back and carefully counting, I realize they will only be 16 weeks. A whole week of waiting is lost. It looks like we got ours the same day as you, cozycrestmom.
Oh well, back to waiting some more.
