Awww im here by myself wait that last post was supposed to be connected to this one oh well maybe i accedentaly pushed submit earlier. Ok off topic it seems whenever my relatives come over i become paitent with the egg wait. Well maybe it is because they are even more egg crazy!

She laid another one today. Once again its small, about half the size of a normal egg and brown. But the shell is super hard and the yolk is a deep deep orange. I'm so proud of Eggs! (the name of that hen.)

I got my chickens the 2nd week of March, I am so ready for eggs!!! they have had some scary times so they may start late I guess. Had a huge snake in my coop
ate one, the roos started fighting over them, had 12 rood from my 19 chickens had to get rid of 10, I think the stres had a lot to do with it they are starting to act calmer and may start to lay soon!!!

everything I have read said that if the chicken has 2 lower combs it is a male!! If this is not true I got rid of 10 chckens that were females!!!! no!!!! I did all the researcha nd talked to a chcken farmer in town.... any ideas??????
