Reminds me once of a board I was on for something, I can't remember anymore.
They asked me a question, If you were god, name ONE thing you'd change about the world. Without hesitation, I said, "cockatoo's would come with a volume control' I got numerous strange looks, a few 'ruffled feathers' from im sure you know which crowd, and one lady just burst out laughing. I think we outed another big bird owner that day

I did! He was a black cap capuchin!
He liked to jump around the room on the backs of furniture, land on my shoulder and wrap his tail around my neck. They have muscles in their tail, it is so strong. Also fingernails, even if I clipped them short, he would manage to accidentally scratch me when climbing. All was well until he started pulling off his diaper...
Unfortunately, during a relocation, we just couldn't keep him, but he did go to another family and a good home.

I should also add that that particular breed of monkey is a 40+ year commitment!

oof, yah diaperless I can see where that could quickly escalate into a rather big issue.
How often did monkeys dump / urinate?

He looks just like my mango did, I miss him so much! our neighbor is having some problems with their horse and we were calling vets and it just brought back so many memories of the ordeal I had with my mango and the emergency vet visits.
