In need of rehome is playing with words often times.
Craigslist changed rules and can get selective on what you can and can not sell.
in some states you need special licenses to sell animals, especially birds of that nature.
so to get around this they say, I am not selling him, I'm 'rehoming' him, and want a 500 dollar rehoming fee, or you are paying 1500 dollars for his cage BS they will try.

No, I always make sure it's one bird not a breeder. Point is that I don't buy from breeder on Craigslist or anywhere. Those birds for sell on Craigslist may end up in rescues.

So I bought a nail clipper with a grinder just like they use at the vet, it's coming in today or tomorrow. I really need to trim cookies nails!

So the clippers came in! I just trimmed and grinded cookies nails, she did great. I wrapped her in a towel and had my quickstop powder on hand. She was such a good girl and I didn't even need my powder! I guess no more $90 vet visits to get the vet to trim her nails. It is cheaper if I just have the techs do it but I done want her in the back with loose or even just tied up dogs if she gets loose so I always pay for a vet visit so the we get a room and the vet looks her over and does her nails.....not anymore!

I have a flat file. Ill just lift paco's toes and one by one file them but it's about useless. As fast as I can file them down, he tries to chew them back sharp. His beak Ill get a flat file and hold it in front of him and smack him in the beak with it then leave it within grabbing range, he will grab onto the file, ill then start the 'tug o war' and he'll chew away at it as im pretending to be trying to pull it away, growling at him the whole time he thinks its a game but what it's doing is grinding down his beak w/o having to figure a way to hold him down, immobilize him etc... mission accomplished !!

That's smart! I wish cookie would let me just lift her ties but that's not happening 😕 😆

aww he's sweet. Ive been looking harness' for Paco, id like to take him outside with me but he'd be absolutely just a shoulder bird. I got some hawks around and absolutely do not want to risk having him sit on a perch and swoop gone. Thing is, I can see him absolutely tearing that harness up the first time I even think of putting it on and well there goes 40 dollars heh.
